I really cant decide between this two.
the 4870 1gb is $189 and the gtx260 $219
, the gtx260 comes with far cry2 and cod5 included

I already have far cry2 and I dont mind paying the extra money if the gtx260 is better

core i7
6gb ddr3
asus p6t

any suggestions will be appreciate

I have to disagree with you Far Cry2 is not a bad game.

what about the 4890 vs 4870 .....I heard there is no big difference between those cards

@ topo: There is little difference although the 4890 is supposed to overclock better. I would not base a purchasing decision on the overclocking potential of a component, it cannot be guaranteed.
I would buy the HD4870 in reply to your first post.
I would not but a HD4890, it`s too expensive with the faster GTX275 in the same price band.
