Should I pick this up anyway, since I live near a Frys?

Then, I can adjust my build around this.

I want to do video editing with my new build.

Live in the US and will spend USD.

Max 1300 USD + taxes. Newegg, Frys, Microcenter, etc.

I live near Microcenter and Frys (they are like 10 min apart).

Recommendations for other build components appreciated.

I have 19" Dell Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse. I would need an OS too.

Don't bother with that GPU from Fry's if you have that much money. You can do better. If this is a video editing build, then here is how I would do it:

Total: $1195.55 after shipping, before $30 MIR. You will also be able to play games fairly well on this setup as well if you so wish. The GTX 260 is useful for video editing, the GT200 GPU is designed to assist in that kind of process which greatly speeds it up, and the i7 is the best CPU around for video editing. Use the Cooler to OC the CPU a bit (very easy to do, the i7's are just begging for it) and you will have a very fast video editing rig.
