P2 Connector

I have a Dell Vostro with a 4-pin connection. The old power supply has "P2" stamped on it.

The new power supply, a Corsair tx850w does not have a 4-pin but rather an 8-pin connetor.

What do I do now?

The 8 pin plug separates into two 4 pin plugs.

The 8 pin comes apart.You just have to make sure you put the right 4 pin plug in.I know,they are different,but I've also seen people force the wrong one into the plug on the board and create havoc with thier MB.Just separate the 8 pin into two 4 pin plugs.Inspect each one carefully and then select the right one to use.Goodluck.
