Just upgraded my Bellsouth DSL (SE FLorida) to Extreme DSL. Upload speed is ok, at 350kbps. But download went from about 1000kbps to 1500kbps. I worked with customer service for a while, and no joy. Can't get the 2500kbps.
Any suggestions? Modem is Alcatel STH. I use a router, but speed is same with and without router.

I have the same problem and I have a Westell modem. I just switched from comcast cable to this and the dl speed sucks!
