Hey everyone - This is a basic rundown of my next midrange PC build ( payday seems so far away... ) I was hoping for some input / suggestions on my build.

Few things I want to point out:
I am in Canada, and ONLY using ncix.com and newegg.ca
The items listed are not price matched yet as prices are likely to change before payday
I am an intel/nvidia fanboy, so no ATI/AMD suggestions please
I have a variable (not unlimited) budget
I am not looking cheapest possible or the most powerful - Just a quality, all around high performance build

For SLI GTX 285's, you should probably get an 850tx PSU. I think I would also spend a little bit more on the MB and get the Asus P6T Deluxe V2 because it has better spacing of the PCIEx16 slots, so more air gets to your GPU's when they are in SLI, and you don't have them right up against each other. Other than that, your build looks very solid, don't forget to get A DVD Drive and Vista (or Win7) 64bit.

Alright, I'l look more into the P6T deluxe, Havn't really considered any other boards besides Gigabyte, But I only hear good things about Asus.

As a novice overclocker, which board would give me less headaches reaching a stable 3.6-3.8 24/7 overclock?

Thanks for the suggestion xthekidx

and I said NOVICE!

After looking at some reviews for the P6TD I'm going ahead and switching over. Also changing to the corsair 850TX, I'm updating my list now -

Anyone else with some suggestions or comments please feel free to post.
