Hi,
I am a long time reader of this furm and this is a first time post.

Recenly I added 4gb of memory 1.5tb hard drive new cpu cooler and took out one of Dvd drive and flopy. when I tund on the computer it does not boot up no beeps, only powers up.

the hard drive and the sata dvd drive light comes on including the motherboad light all the fans are working.

I now for sure it is not the memory, My guss is video card MOBO or the CPU . Since I do not have extra parts to swap how should I proceed?.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Try just one stick of memory and disconnect the hardrive. Then see if it posts.

No it did not help. I have done most of rutine troubleshoothing steps so far with out success I think it is time for a new one.
