Samsung hd103sj

Hello,
I'm trying to use my HD103Sj hd as an external hd using a usb sata adapter as connect, with a windows XP operating system. It read it was ready to be used, but no drive appeared. can you help me?

Does you USB-SATA adapter support 1TB drives? If it does check diskmgmt.msc and look if the drive has a drive letter assgined otherwise you might wanna assign one. Or try using a different usb port maybe one USB 2.0 from the back of the case.

The diskmgmt.msc solved the problem. The HD is visible.
