i recently took my old blue fan out of the top of my case because it is slow and sucks. and i put my old comptuter processor fan in there. but it runs really fast like 100% at around 5500 rpm. i have no clue how to turn it down. nothing in bios. speedfan doesnt work. help

Well if none of that works then I suggest you invest a couple of $'s/£'s into a Zalaman fan mate, their dirt cheap and will do exactly what you want.

^Or if you truly want to use software SpeedFan will do the job. It's not as easy as using a fan controller but it is free.
