The assumption is that the 333MHz RAM you have is DDR type and the 667 you're considering is DDR2. Both need to be SO-DIMM also.

DDR2 is not compatible with DDR. You need to locate either 333 or 400MHz DDR SO-DIMM if you have 333 DDR now.
