Savind data on healthy drives from RAID ON FAILING MOTHER BOARD nvidia Raid 5

I have an ASUS P5N64 WS PRO with 4 drives connected to and running on the NVIDIA SATA RAID 5 CONTROLLER. I am sure the motherboard is failing, the computer will not connect to via ethernet to a router. Can I connect the four drives to another RAID CONTROLLER and save the data?

  1. As far as I know, the new RAID assignment will delete the data.
  2. You will probably have to copy all the data you want to save to another drive. Then, install the new mobo, setup RAID again, install OS, and then move the data over to the new RAID drives.
