Programs not running in xp

Hello,
Many programs are not working in my windows XP.
When I run the programs it says "WINDOWS CANNOT ACCESS THE SPECIFIED DEVICE,PATH OR FILE.YOU MAY NOT HAVE APPROPRIATE PERMISSIONS TO ACCESS THEM."

Hi, Give the path from the CD or from the HDD of your computer because programs which are not running required files which are stored at your computer to get install.
