Hi all,

I have a Dell 30 inch that only has DVI input. I want to connect my Onkyo receiver that has VGA and Component output to this monitor so that I can use that as a TV.

Is there any cable that will allow me to do this?

Thanks a lot.

Depending on the DVI type there are two differnet solutions. If its DVI-D you need a converter, however most likely its DVI-I in which case you can buy a cable with a DVI-I connector on one end and VGA on the other.

Something like this:

Double check on the type of DVI connection on the monitor... essentially the DVI-I has four pins surrounding the flat long pin, the DVI-D has none.
