Im planning on building a computer and i am planning on adding/replacing all LEDs for blue ones

i wanted to know how hard it is to replace current LEDs

swapping is easy just remember there is a positive and negative so don't put them in backwards

adding leds to a circuit increases resistance thereby reducing voltage so it becomes a little more involved

There is also a voltage issue as well. Some LEDs have resistors built into them and "step the voltage down " by themselves and many replacement LEDs do not have this resistor in them and they burn out in just a few seconds as a result. Make sure that the replacement LEDs are made for the voltage going to them or put the proper resistor in the power supply feed line to insure that they do not become toast quickly.
