Heatsink is loose!!

It has spring brackets holding it down, but if you push on the side IT can move about 1 cm. You can also lift it about 1 cm.. Is there suppose to be thermal paste underneath it? should i take the HS off and apply some..

I would touch it; if it's cool, leave it alone. People can be stupid sometimes wanting to fiddle with their motherboards; these are sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Once it's in place; LEAVE IT ALONE.

omg i know...... i was just touching it one time to see if it was hot, and it moved.. So i got worried... i know about electrostatic discharge.
