Hello,

I have 3 x Western Digital Caviar Blue WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s to connect into my new ASUS Ramapge 3.

Can I connect the main hard drive (3.0Gb/s) into the on board Sata 6.0 port?
Will by doing that to damage in some way my drives?

Thanks and sorry for the basic question...this is my 1st built system.

You can plug any SATA drive into any SATA port whether the speeds match or not. SATA is designed to autonegotiate between the controller and the drive and the connection will run at the fastest speed that's supported by both ends.
