DVI cable, HDMI or VGA - do you understand how CF works?
Not really, but i want a crossfire on a radeon 3850. I want to know whats the name of the cable that connects the two gpus to the monitor. Is it a DVI Y splitter cable?
Crossfire is when you have two GPUs working together to render the images, then just one normal cable goes from the "master" card to the Monitor. Do you already have two 3850s?

yes i'v got 2 3850s. so i dont need a dvi y splitter cable or anything.
In the early crossfire days, there was a special external cable. New ones now have an internal bridge (like SLI) and no special external cable. All you do is connect them with the bridge (which should have came with one card or the MB) and turn on crossfire in the drivers.
