i am having a data dvd which is write protected and i want to copy some files to it.but its showind dvd is write protected even if i try to make a image of the dvd and then try to paste my files it shows same result.please help m out its urgent.

    Is this a re-writable media? If not, you can't write again on it, or even so, if the disk was "closed" at the end of burning session, you can't write on it unless you re-format it (if it is re-writable), but by doing this you will lose all the data on it.
    Best bet, copy the data of of it somewhere on the PC and then make another DVD with all the data that you need added on it.
