1st of all idk if this is in the right place ( new to toms forums )
basically this will be my 1st water cooling setup and i wanted to get a ek kit because i'v heard great things about them.http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12368/ex-wat-164/Ek_H30_Supreme_HF_360_Advanced_Liquid_Cooling_Kit_EK-KIT_H3O_-_Supreme_HF_360.html?tl=g30c321s1367

i wanted to know if i can somehow add in a 6950 water block into this setup and if i can what would i need short of the 6950 water block.
also should i add any additives or the silver coils to this water setup to prevent corrosion and/or algae

Ok i7 920 is hot running chip,the kit you trying to get comes with single 360 EK-CoolStream RAD XT,here is Heat Loads table for this RAD

power consumption for your chip (add around 250W for GPU);

as you can see 1x360 won't cut it a specially with the OC,you need 2x360(quality RAD's)

no no no lol it may be my 1st water cooled setup but i helped build many and you dont need 2x360 rads lols iv seen gtx480s and i7s on a single 360 rad and the 480 is alot hotter then my 6970 listen a single rad (h50 1 fan) can handle my i7920 @4ghz with ht on max prime 95 temps 72c
and im quite sure a 240 can handle my 6970 so a 360 should handle both fine.
thanks for your research but iv asked around and seen a couple setups from my friends all of which only had a single 360 rad and had there gpu and cpu on it

Then if you 'know it all', already, why are you asking people that have been doing this for advice?

You are right, you can run a single 360 rad with a CPU+GPU...just don't expect great temps.

Where are you getting your info? And what exact setup on what hardware?

Different gen CPUs and GPUs put out different amounts of heat load. I think you might want to consider exactly what you want and the amount of money for this build before you do anything. It sounds like you spent about 10 minutes reading a couple forums, and then posted this.

10 mins reading forums I like your assumptions considering I didn't read any forums i went to my friends houses/called/texted who all happen to have i7s and most are on the green team so they have nvidia gpus so from 470s-580s Which all happen to be on a single 360 rad there temps are great the said just be sure to get some good fans for your rads most suggested gts one suggested the $30 fan at frozen CPU tribek or somthing.
As for the other guy who was haveing a "bad day" if your 41 and don't know how to deal with your "bad days" other then to come on forums and be mean then you need help
