Hello,

I know this question has been asked a few times but i am having trouble with it. I have a dvi to hdmi cord and i want to have sound from my computer play to my tv. I have a 3.5 mm audio cord that is going to a converter for the red and white ends and i have them hooked up to my tv. But i can't get any sound to play from the tv. I have a samsung LN37A450 and a basic onboard sound card from a ASUS motherboard. If anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome.

Well does your motherboard have optical out for sound? Also DVI doesn't carry sound..
