Did you change the boot order in the bios to boot from CD first?
  2. Hi. Yer the cd starts to load all the files and then says boot manager missing and tells me to control-alt-delete to restart the laptop.

Try removing all hard drives except the one you want to install to. During the install procedure you are given a chance to create/delete partitions. Delete all partitions and recreate them, then let the install continue. You can attach the rest of the drives after the installation of windows is complete.
