my question is why the memorys in bios show only 800mhz instead of 1066 mhz ?

this 's the first time i build an AMD system and it's also my second built after mine 2-3 weeks ago

hi
you need to go in to the bios and set your ram to 533 from 400 that its set at now..

and bump the ram voltage from 1.8 to 2.0 or 2.1 per the specs on the ram heat sink..set your ram timing to 5.5.5.15.
. F10 save and exit..then youll see ram at 1066 during your restart

it showed @1066 now
i ran MEMTEST it passed 2 tests
but it failed in PRIME95 test
Do you think that it 's good ?
it boots ok without problem

hi
did you up the volts on your ram to 2.1? they should be stable @1066 and pass prime.

i would look to get the ram stable at 1066 then you can overclock that Phenom II X2 545 a bit

have a look here http://gskill.us/forum/ and see if they can help with the timings..i have that same ram and it runs rock solid at 1066
