I have built around 5 systems before but never this powerful and never with all new parts. So before I buy anything I would love it if you guys could checkout my parts list and tell me what you think. I am only going for a medium build computer. Please let me know if I am missing anything. I don't do a lot of gaming but occasionally like it play, so it would be nice if I had the power for it. I mostly do video editing and graphics development.

Everything looks good, except there is no way that you need a 1100w power supply. A good corsair 650w or ocz 750w power supply will be more than enough.

Other than that, it should be a really nice build.

Oh yes I forgot I receive SATA cables with my Motherboard, thank you for that. Do you think it would be better to get one of those HDD's you suggested even if I don't need all the extra storage as I have a 1TB external? I picked out the 1100W PSU because I know it will easily get the job done and I think it looks cool, but it is not a necessity at all. Also when it comes to an NVIDA Video Card the motherboard listed does not support SLI and therefor I would not be able to run another in the future. With that in mind would you still suggest the GeForce GTX 260? do you guys think that the "Antec Nine Hundred" would be an adequate replacement for the "COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP", as I really like the design better on the Antec cases?

Sure, the Antec 900 is a nice case. It's just a little hard to swallow the $50 price difference IMO. I just think the RC-690 is a steal at $59. Cases come down to personal preference, though. The cases both cool very well.

I choose a soldered connection vs. plug everytime. Another plug is another point of possible failure.

If you use this or something similar, I should be able to help you get much better performance out of your pc than what is currently suggested. I'd focus on the hard drives because they are the slowest part and any performance gains will be immediately felt, especially for video editing.

if you like the antec 900's looks, shop around and see if you can find a XClio/a+ case blackhawk.

the blackhawk costs a bit less than the 900 but it's xclio's answer to the antec 1200, also can take a 12" graphics card, 2 x 4 HDD's with 2 x 120mm fans cooling those HDD's, dual 120mm exhaust fans at the top and a 200mm fan blowing on the motherboard and all those important components.

In that case, what specifics would you suggest in a HDD?

1) What video formats/codecs do you normally use? The answer will determine whether you need higher MB/s read/write speed.(for example, film & uncompressed video codecs can range anywhere between 70MB/s up to 250MB/s, whereas Panasonic's codecs are up to only 12.5MB/s(100mbit) and Sony's are 4.4MB/s(35mbit))

2) What video editing & graphic design programs do you use?

3) Do you use Photoshop and/or Bridge? Using Bridge, having faster random access speeds helps a lot when looking thru images and video. With Photoshop, it has a "scratch disk" which uses hard drive space as ram overflow and the speed of the scratch disk greatly affects real time performance.

4) If you want to overclock the 9550 a lot, you will need faster than 800MHz ram. With 800MHz ram, the max overclock is only up to 3.4Ghz.

5) Is the 320GB drive you chose the only drive you need or do you have others? That drive will fill up extremely quick with video.
