hi folks, just bought a H70 for my i7 960 and it wont fit my case without doing a couple of mods or losing massive air flow within the case. the case is a nzxt phantom with the side 200mm (190mm nzxt) fan ON.
in the meantime while i change a couple of things and try to work out what to do, with the side fan on, it leaves enough room for a 150mm heatsink.
my question is; would a 'noctua u9b se2' be sufficient enough to cool the 960?

NZXT confirmed this below in their forums...

"We have come across an issue with installing a Corsair H50 or H70 CPU Cooler; the H50/H70 radiator in the rear 120mm fan position hits the top 200mm fan. The current solution is to move the 200mm fan to the forward position. In the future, we plan to move the 120mm mounting position down 10mm for better fitting. Also, the side 200mm fan would also have to be removed for Corsair H50/H70 installation."

Hope that helps...
