Ok I have just purchased a power supply 650 Watt My motherboard is a P5QL-E

It has a cap over 4 connectors the power supply is a reputable make to ATX 2.2 standard.

My processor is an E5300

And Grapics Card HSI 4850 Turbo.

The power supply seemes ok. But what is the importance of connecting the outher 4 Pin. Am I missing Something.

Any Help most apreciated.

ATX 4 or 8 Pin

Do not want Quad yet until I can see benifit However will Buy a converter next time in the computer shops.
