Are there any DDR3 AM3 motherboards that support SLI? Because I don't know if AMD allows SLI because you know SLI is nVIDIA technology :sarcastic: :??:

the 980a chipset is the chipset that was supposed to bring that, but the only board i found that utilises it is ddr2, cut i dont see a real need to impliment ddr3 yet the only noticeable perf increases occur in synthetic benches

Well i have a GTX 295 with a MSI 790 FX mobo and a 955 BE, so there is no need for SLI since the GTX 295 is 2 GPUs in itself.

But my mobo did come with Crossfire connectors, and i was wondering if there is any ATI card on par with the 295 GTX.

aff... I was hoping an amd system would replace my dead i7 :(
I can't see why really, why AMD Chipsets can't support SLI technology... Is it AMD that won't make their chipsets support SLI or is it nVIDIA that won't allow AMD to use SLI :??:
I already have 2 GTX 260's and DDR3 memory so...

I s'pose the 4870 X2 beats the 295 if you use the 9.8 drivers.
