Hello,

I'm trying to build my first computer and the motherboard IO plate has all these metal tabs sticking up that a stopping it from allowing the motherboard ports to pop in and make a good fit. I tried cutting a couple off with scissors and that don't seem to be working. What would be the best way to tackle this goofy problem?

thanks for all your help

You need those, to ensure good grounding. Some may need to be lifted a little, but they should press on the tops and around the edges of various connectors when the mobo has been put in place.
