I believe the Titanium is Creatives "Best" model, but it is Creative we're talking about here...

I always thought creative made the best sound cards.

at one time, maybe. Then they (allegedly) heard the story about a million monkeys pounding on typewriters and creating the works of Shakespeare... did the math... decided that 10 monkeys would be enough to write drivers and that bananas were cheaper than a programmer's salary.

------------------------------ Which Chip? Well, it depends on which set of thieving b@stardz you choose to support: The ones who use insider trading to enrich themselves while running their company into the ground, or the ones who illegally pay vendors to not support the first group.

Agreed. Creatives driver support = Crap. And I still havn't forgiven them for disabling many of their features for Vista (on purpose), and they now charge you money to re-activate those same features (DDL, etc).

Auzentech and ASUS make far better cards, which are far more stable driver wise. Theres a reason why so many people make modded drivers for Creative, but there are few modded drivers for Auzentech/ASUS.
