I recently bought ATI 4650 but its not showing my native resolution of 1600x900... there is no 1600x900 option in list.
I installed lastest drivers etc, and its not showing my monitor name also in CCC ... Its working on 1440x900.

So now i am using my onboard Intel GMA x3000 and its working perfectly on native resolution of 1600x900 and also i can see my monitor name in windows.

so what can i do to get 1600x900 and proper picture from ATI 4650 ?

My specs

Windows 7 32bit, Samsung Syncmaster 2033SW, XFX ATI HD4650

Thx

My guess is thats an odd resolution.
I have a HD4850 and a 22" it doesnt offer 1600x900 either. Only 1440x900 and 1600x1200, and 1680x1050. My native res is 1680x1050.
Did you try downloading your monitor driver?

Yes I have installed the Monitor driver. Samsung SyncMaster 2033sw is New model, based on 16:9 resolution is 1600x900, from what you are saying I think ATI Doesn't support this resolution. Can anyone confirm ?

Thx

Start>Control Panel>Appearance and Temes>Display>Settings>Advanced> Adaptor>List All Modes.
The above is for XP but is much the same in Vista.
Any help?

I will say that when I play a game such as COD4, it does list 1440x900 as a choice in the game.

Did you try the ATI forums? I've found some answers there that nobody else could answer. My hunch, like someone else here, is that ATI doesn't support this new resolution yet. One of the pitfalls of being an ATI user is having to take a back seat to driver updates.

There is no 1600x900 option in the resolution list in CCC, but my Onboard Intel x3000 support this resolution, so i am using onboard graphics now. hopefully ATI will support this resolution soon. In CCC i can't even see my monitor's name.
