I just built a PC with this Motherboard and 8 gig of 1600 DDR3 and GTX 260 video card. I was laoding soft ware and it died. It will not boot up and there is a flashing LED's under the Asus emblem on the mother board. and there is a throbing noise coming out of the speakers. The only changes I made to the BIOS was I set Dimm to X.M.P. No power to floopy or either DVD

I looked futher and found a flashing LED DIMM A1.

Removed All RAM and GPU and this did not help. Fans run but not power to DVD's, Floopy, Card Reader.

Did the Mother Board Toast?
