Good fans & TIM for i7 950 & Megahalems.

What fans would people recommend for the megahalems. Cooling is a bit more important than noise, though I'd like a balance. I was thinking of the Scythe Gentle Typhoons.

Also I know little about TIM, but read an article saying OCZ Freeze was one of the best. Would people here agree?

i have a megahalems on my 920
i'm using scythe ultra kazes and arctic silver 5
i would suggest the arctic silver 5 except the 200 hour curing time is a bit of a bitch
66 degrees load 4.0 ghz oc

AS5, TX4, MX4, NTH1 all are good ones around the same price... you can go for any one on them...

Thanks for the advice. Are the Ultra Kazes 38mm fans? Just so I'd know to get some clips for the deeper fans if I go for them.

Yup big fat fans... sounds like jet engines but extreme CFM... good for radiators...

For your megahalems you can get these 38mm fan clips...

thanks guys. think I'll go with some sort of scythe as they appear to be a pretty good make. Probably the slipstreams due to decent CFM, and apparently not too much noise (i game with headphones on usually anyway, so it's not too big a deal)
