Unfortunately I don't know which is the right socket type to be looking at. Anyone mind tossing me a bone, oh and space is a concern since I have a micro tower. So any help woul dbe greatly appreciated.

These are the heatsinks that I am currently looking at but can't make the leap to pick one out:

Thanks again.

More about cooling please
  1. i am using Tt V2. my CPU is core 2 quad 6700 slightly overclocked @ 333MHz*10.
the room temp is above 30℃, the temp of cpu is 41℃ according to EVEREST Ultimate Edition. personally i think Tt V2 is very good.
By the way, i am a student living in the PRC(the People's Republic of China).i hope Tt V2 is available in your district.
forgive my spelling and grammar mistakes if there is any.
  2. LGA775 ,LGA1366, AM2, AM2+ and AM3 CPUs are all supported by Tt V2

I'd go with the Scythe Mugen II, it cools great. I've read bad reviews on the CNPS9900, and i never really liked those Zalman CPU coolers.
