Hello,

I'd like to format a DSDD floppy to make it bootable for an IBM 5150. I only have a windows xp machine with a usb floppydrive.

I tried al the variants that can be found on bootdisk.com, but al those program give a message that the format is not supported.

thanks for your suggestions

You could install DOS in a virtual machine and format the disk.

:hello:

Thanks for the suggestion! It worked. I installed dos in a VMware machine and formatted the disk.

Using:
format /F:720 /S

For those who are planning to install dos on VMware (of parallels): use an iso file that can be found here:
http://www.allbootdisks.com/download/iso.html

thanks!

Virtual machines are a GREAT tool; how did we live without them ;)
