ASUS Motherboad: P4SD-LA
Original Bios AMI 3.10
updated bios to 3.28

Have upgraded Processor from Pentium 2.4 to 3.4; was working but only at 2.8 Ghz updated Bios to 3.28 per HP.com

Now it says New processor is not compatible, and will not boot; new processor was working with bios 3.10

re-installed 2.4 processor and that works ???

ANY IDEAs??? Have tried to find 3.10 Bios with no luck???

Did you reset the CMOS after you upgraded the BIOS?
