I have an ASUS P5N72-T Premium mother board, I am having a problem finding a program to change the audio outputs. I have my 5.1 headset hooked up to the rear sound card and have another jack on the top of the tower, what I am trying to do is find a program that allows me to toggle the two. Windows senses my headset as speakers because they are 5.1 and I cant toggle to the top audio jack on my PC. I couldn't get realtek to work so I am looking for any recommendations on how to make switching outputs possible! I appreciate any help in advance.
the latest drivers from asus should have an option to disable speakers when head phones are plugged in. Install drivers then look in control panel for the controls

I have the latest updates but I still cant toggle the headphones to speakers without unplugging and one. I am trying to find a program like realtek has where you can toggle which is on, because I have the two jacks I just want to be able to have speakers in one and headphones in the other and a program to tell it which to use I know there are some out there. i am just having an issue finding them.
if you already installed the latest drivers from asus go to your control panel and look around there will somewhere to adjust the settings. Gigabyte calls it "realteck hd audio manager" but asus most likely calls it something else.
