HTPC, and XP Pro

I was planning to get a Lite On Blu ray drive for my upcoming HTPC, I have Windows XP Pro SP3 and I have these programs, PowerDVD 6, Nero Ultra 7 will I be able to watch Blu ray on these programs with XP. I've heard rumors that XP needs some kind of UDF 2.5 thing? What does that mean :lol: ?

Make sure that the drive your getting has at least 4x read speeds or it will not be able to actually output HD. Nero will not play Blu-ray, but I'm not sure about PowerDVD. Google it. As for using XP, I haven't heard anything, but I also have not tried blu-ray on XP.

But Nero Showtime 7 saids Bluray Disks, and AVCHD. I'm pretty sure it'll play, tho. If anyone has any exerpiences with this please let me know!
