Hey guys. I have a rig with the following specs

ATI Radeon 4870 512Mb
Core 2 Duo e7400@ 2.8 ghz
4gb of Ram(DDR800)
Antec Earthwatts 500w
Running on Vista x64

According to many benchmarks the 4870 should get very high fps in this game even at extremely high resolutions(at very high settings), yet when i run the benchmark tool @ 1440x900 then I only get an average fps of 19fps. Any possible ideas as to what could be wrong?

The same thing happened to me in that game, and I have a 4870 (1 gig though). I'm not really sure why it goes that, but you should be able to run it really well at regular high settings which is what I do. Plus the benchmark is overkill when it comes to the game. It gave me around 35 on average, but it never dips below 45 during gameplay.
