Windows-delayed write failed

Hello,
I have a 500GB(seagate) USB HDD.When I access the data from HDD it shows "windows-delayed write failed". Please give me solutions.

Hard drive failure / corruption. It's normally down-hill from there.

Get as much information as you can off it, then format (full format).

If you're still getting errors, bin it and buy new.

Use better/thick cables. If the external HDD has no separate power plug you may run into problems as well. If the plug has two USB connectors, connect both of them; this can be a power issue or other cabling issue.

Lost delayed writes can corrupt your filesystem and cause massive damage on the disk; be very careful if this concerns important data.
