Im planning on buying a Black Magic Intensity Pro (http://www.amazon.com/Blackmagic-Design-Intensity-Editing-Express/dp/B001CN9GEA) to capture 1080p shows off my tv, and maybe gameplay off my xbox 360.
Appearently uncompressed is better than compressed in terms of quality, but in order to record in uncompressed you need to have drives that can write 120mb/s. And you need HDs in RAID. I know nothing about raid, i built a computer from scratch and everything but thats about it.
Right now i have
1 640gb WD HD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319&cm_re=640_western_digital-_-22-136-319-_-Product
and plan on buying
2x 1 TB Western Digital Cavier Black HDs http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136284&cm_re=1_tb_caviar_black-_-22-136-284-_-Product
If i was to put all those in RAID 0, would that be atleast 120mb/s ? Or would i need like an SSD or Velciraptor HD?
Thanks!
