I´m desperate. I was tweaking my BIOS settings on my Asus P5Q-E (like changing a bit the FSB -266 to 333-). As usual after saving settings the pc restarted....... but this time I got a checksum error !!!!!!!! it asked for a BIOS ROM file on CD or USB, so I loaded the latest BIOS version on an USB from my latop (and renamed it as P55E.ROM, so it would read it). After doing so.. it erased the BIOS and programmed it... the PC restarted once again, and now it doesnt really BOOT at all. I just get a black screen with the following at the bottom:

"Press DEL to run Setup, Press TAB to display BIOS POST Message" (and the intel logo by its side.

Pressing DEL of course doesnt work.. neither TAB nor anything else !!! Im REALLY WORRIED.. and I really need help.

Thanks for reading and for your time.

If I could edit the title I would write partially solved:

I found out that clearing the CMOS would help... and it seems so. Now I´m facing some windows problems since it "thinks" I have a different hardware :S Any hints on this ???

Thanks you
