Another first build, need suggestions

Hey guys, I'm looking to build a computer that will mainly be used for graphic design and video editing, not much gaming. I would like to use the i7, 6gb of RAM, and be able to use my current triple monitor setup (this means I can't run SLI correct?). My budget is right around $1200, I saw this setup in another post, but I don't think the video cards will work with my triple monitors. What do you guys think?

More about another build suggestions
  1. All of your links are broken.

From what I can see, your build list is very good (it looks like I might have had something to do with its creation :P). Make sure you pick up Vista 64bit.

Since you aren't concerned about gaming, then I would get lower-end GPU's to support all your monitors. If you still want to be able to play some games, then look at a 4850x2, which can support 4 monitors on its own and is "xfire-in-a-card". You can also get one good nvidia GPU like a GTX 275 to support 2 monitors and have the possiblilty of gaming, and then just get like a 9500 GT for the other monitor as well. This might be a better option for you as Nvidia GPU's typically work better with the kind of work it sounds like you will be doing.
  2. I think I'll go the dual nvidia route, thanks for the quick reply and suggestions!
