And, a "fixer" would be what and where is it located ?
Is it a rescue CD that you burned ?

After checking different websites I decided to create a boot disk off my =
second laptop. Once the system came up just followed the prompts. Finally t=
he system wizard came up ran that and rebooted system and it is now opera
ting. How about It only cost 5.00 the purchase of the cds to create the bac=
kup disk. This was an easy fix.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you I was just thinking of a solution.
My daughter failed to follow instruction which were to backup the computer and run the scans weekly.
