I plug the USB of my camrea in, my computer make the same noise it always does to tel me my camera is hooked up. then a screen comes up that says would you like to open your pics in a folder, but that screen won't come up so i cant upload my pics, why?

But are you still able to access your camera's folder through My Computer? In any case, go to your Control Panel, switch to classic view if it isn't already activated, and double-click Auto Play. You'll be presented with a list of what actions your computer should take when it detects certain kinds of devices or media activating.
