i have this wonderful offer of an core i7 920 + DX58SO for $480 in a nearby retail shop...

is it ok to go with this considering the fact that the bundled intel board is not a gr8 one compared to others in the x58 league ??

and also the same shop retails another offer of core i5 750 + Asus P7P55D for $400...

which would be a better choice... money is not the main criteria... but i wouldn't wanna waste if i can help it..

Usage : this is going to be a htpc which will also be used as a gaming pc to play games in high res(1900*1200)
