need a stress test for a computer system failure

what kind of stress do you plan to apply? what are you testing?

I have a Dell 755 that is rebooting on its own every 10 days or so- this is while the user is working and no scheduled updates. Personally sounds to like the CPU gets to hot under load but need something I can test to make this happen.In the old days we had to burn in MB before general use- and we used software that would run on it for 24 hours auto for us.
