A while ago I had problems with my computer which stopped it from booting up at all, the only way I could fix it was to put in a windows xp disc, it installed another windows xp onto my computer so when i boot up i have two options. I'm really low on disc space and I need to get rid of the version I installed most recently, help!!

Your safest bet is to backup personal files, and reinstall correctly (format & clean install). But if you would rather tinker:
