Hey...Sarah is Back!
Hello All. I have an HP A767c desktop running an Asus mobo spec below... this mobo uses ami bios.. I've purchased an pny nvidia nvs 420 pcie quad dvi card... I can get two dvi ports running but 3 and 4, no... Device manager shows 2 instances of the nvs 420, one works fine and one with exclamation: the error detail is insufficient resouces... Nvidia support said to update bios, clear defualts and re-install drivers.. Did this to no avail.. PNY support said they would look into it and get back to me.. nothing yet.. Does anyone have any suggestion as to how I can open up enough resources for this card or do I need a new mobo? Thanks!!! It's possible that your Quadro isn't fully compatible with your mobo. Have you tried using it with someone else's computer?
No, I just got it installed in my office machine and am trying to go that route as we do not have anything newer in the office... Do you know if there is a compatability chart for cards?. If I have to get a new mobo, I'd like to know it will work...
