I'm attempting to rename the user profile of a domain user on a windows xp pro system. The user profile is a local profile but when I attempt to rename it while logged in as a domain admin it says either the disk is full (which it is not, i checked it) or the profile is being used.
What I'm trying to accomplish is to rename this user profile then log in as that particular user and have the system recreate his profile. He is using a program which I believe may have corrupted his profile because the program is working perfectly fine on another domain user when they log into his system.
So, is there a way to rename a local user profile for a domain user?
