I can understand the onboard video, it is nice to have as a backup to trouble shoot possible video card problems. What I cannot understand is why someone would want a motherboard with an nVidia chipset.

That all depends on your budget nasty and if you plan on over clocking sometime down the road. So let us know that, while your at it what screen resolution you use , what country your in and we can go from there. But as the other posters have indicated...stay away from the Nvidea boards.
Integrated graphics + Intel do not go well together. You will need to get a mATX board if you want a reliable MB with integrated graphics. Best to just buy a basic ATX MB like the GA-EP43-UD3L and buy a cheap GPU to tide you over like a 3450: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121259
