When i run prime95 for 15 mins the 3rd core stops working.... Its always at least 8°C lower than the other 3 cores. Should i replace soon as? or can it wait?

Thanks in advance!

Hey ok im running the test and its on load at 33°C from an idle of 26°C.
Normally it would be 30 30 26 30 on idle and load its at 47 47 36 45. ( yes i am on water cooling.)
So in have been testing for 10 mins and there all the same °C 37 36 37 36..... So it could be broke? my PC hasent crashed and the worker is still going..

open a video converter, put a video to convert, limit it to the core u think is giving trouble in task manager and see what happens

if the temp differences are all that concern u, then its nothing, maybe just a faulty temp monitor

i dont think its the monitor cause on prime the worker stops while the rest carry on (when i dont set affinity) Just seems odd to me really. But ill porbs upgrade soon atm im in a Gigabyte X48-DS4. What core you think i should get? Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400?

buy the q9400 its only like 10$ more, u get 2mb more cache and virtualisation

It could be that one core needs slightly more voltage to be stable than the others. Is it overclocked? If so, try upping the voltage just a bit.
