I have a processor that should be at 3.2GHz that only works at 800 MHz. I have an ECS Motherboard the 790GXM and I have called both AMD and ECS and they have confirmed that my whole system is compatible. They told me to turn off AMD's cool and quiet, I did but it has not improved my performance. After trying a few other things with me they both suggested I update my BIOS. This is difficult for me to do and I do not see why I would need to do it because my BIOS says it is compatible with my processor. I have tried going into AMD Overdrive and when I enter the proper settings my computer soon after freezes. When I tried to adjust my computer to the proper settings in the BIOS the computer would not boot and I had to reset the cmos.

What can I do to solve this problem without updating my BIOS? IF I need to Update my BIOS could you give me a link or really good instructions.

this is my results from CPU-ID
